Lemon Herb Butter
2 Tablespoons lemon balm, chopped fine
2 Tablespoons thyme, chopped fine
1 Cup butter softened
Cream the butter and stir in the herbs. Chill for 3 hours to allow flavors to blend. Excellent with seafood and vegetables.
2 to 3 good sized handful of fresh lemon balm leaves
1 Quart of vodka
Put both in to a glass jar and leave for 4 weeks then strain out the leaves and pour liquid into spray bottles.
You can add any type of essential oil to the liquid to give it an even better smell.
Lemon Balm Infused Oil
Use this oil for insect bites, rashes, stings and viral skin infections
¾ Cup fresh lemon balm leaves or 1/8 Cup of dried leaves
(A food processor can be used to chop the leaves and place them in a quart mason jar)
Add 1 cup of olive oil
Seal the jar and record the date on the jar.
Place in a sunny location for 2 weeks and shake on a daily basis.
